Does Kuali Coeus have functionality for effort reporting?

No.  The Kuali Financial System (KFS), however, does include Effort Certification in its Labor Ledger.  Effort Certification was introduced with KFS Release 3.0.  See kuali.org/kfs for additional details.

Kuali Coeus calculates salary - both sponsor requests and cost sharing - from percent effort listed in the proposal budget.  This information is not integrated with the KFS effort certification module.

    Where can I find a detailed list of KC functionality that could be helpful for determining if KC is right for my institution?

    The Kuali Coeus team, with generous assistance from the Huron Consulting Group and the Coeus Consortium, is preparing this RFP Response. This document details the functional requirements that Kuali Coesus and Coeus fulfill, including information on what is planned for the future. Although not complete yet, the document contains a wealth of information that will be a helpful initial step in evaluating KC.
