KPME Partners are the cornerstone of the KPME effort. By participating in KPME, a Partner has a voice in the direction of the KPME project through Board representation and/or through representation on Functional Council which directs the functionality of the final product. A KPME Partnership also provides a technical and functional knowledgebase about the KPME software for the partner institution, because of detailed participation during design and development. KPME Partners can be institutions of higher education or commercial partners. Details about the types of partnerships are outlined below:
Full Partner
Full partnership enables an institution to have a seat on the Board of Directors and a seat on the Functional Council.
Full partners provide to the project:
- At least 2 full-time developers or the equivalent for the duration of the MOU. Cash may be substituted for committed resources.
- An annual cash contribution as project dues for the duration of the MOU.
Contributing Partner
Contributing partnership enables an institution to have a seat on the Functional Council.
Contributing partners provide to the project:
- At least 1 full-time developer or the equivalent for the duration of the MOU. Cash may be substituted for committed resources.
- An annual cash contribution as project dues for the duration of the MOU.
Supporting Partner
Other types of partnerships will also be considered. KPME has institutions involved in the project who are not full or contributing partners. Please contact one of the following project members for more information about becoming a KPME partner.
