Curriculum Management

The Curriculum Management module facilitates the creation and management of Learning Units(LU), any learning-related activity that needs to be tracked by the institution or the learner. The Kuali Student Curriculum Management module is the first publically released functionality. This module provides course and program management functionality including the proposal, approval and management of courses and programs. Enrollment

The Enrollment module enables institutions and learners alike to manage the enrollment lifecycle of learners once admitted to the institution. It supports all the functionality required for an institution to offer learning activities, and for a learner to enroll in and complete those activities. It allows learners to create learning plans, record (or declare) their learning intentions, and register in learning activities such as programs, joint programs, specializations and courses. It supports program and course selection, registration, class lists and grades. It supports the management of wait lists or other means of measuring demand for learning units and provides mechanisms for handling excess demand. It consists of the following key business processes:

  1. People and Permissions
  2. Program/Course Offering
  3. Course Registration
  4. Program/Course Assessment(grading)
  5. Academic Record
  6. Academic Planning

  1. Assess fees
  2. Provide access to financial planning tools
  3. Invoice customer
