It’s not too late to submit a presentation proposal (http://net.educause.edu/ent11) for the 2011 EDUCAUSE Enterprise Information and Technology Conference. The presentation proposal deadline has been extended to January 14. This conference attracts a large number of CIOs and senior IT leaders, and you are encouraged to present or attend!
Original Announcement:
Attend the EDUCAUSE Enterprise and Information Technology Conference, May 16–17, 2011, in Chicago, Illinois, to take a broad, enterprise-wide look at the big questions facing higher education during the next several years.
This is a valuable opportunity for CIOs and senior enterprise IT leaders to collaborate and discuss what we should be doing now, as well as what we should be thinking about for the future. With interactive small group discussions in addition to sessions, this intentionally smaller-sized event is designed to facilitate powerful conversations among thought leaders and build community that will extend beyond the two-day program itself.
Share strategies and discuss the big questions on the program themes:
- The Cloudy Future
- Resourcing Enterprise Systems
- Trends in Enterprise Information Systems
- The Unique Challenges of Leading a Higher Education IT Organization
The program committee has intentionally designed a two-day, smaller-sized event that includes both track sessions and interactive small group discussions. General session speakers will include Greg Jackson, VP, EDUCAUSE and Brad Wheeler, VP for IT & CIO, Indiana University, as well as a panel of thought leaders from major ERP corporations, including open source solutions.
If you’re responsible for enterprise/administrative information systems on your campus, this is the conference you should definitely attend. Submit a session proposal so we ensure we have the opinions and experiences of community thought leaders like yourself.
