Kuali was featured In the January 2009 issue of the Business Officer magazine, published by the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). In an article written by Anna-Louse Jackson entitled "It Takes a Community," the Kuali Financial System's vision and development was described from its ideation in 2004 to its successful development and delivery of multiple releases.
