Cornell - Member, Partner and Implementer

Cornell University joined Kuali in 2005 as one of the original KFS partners. Since then, Cornell has been heavily involved in KFS, KC and Rice development, and is one of the first schools to start using Kuali Rice in production.

Cornell is currently running Rice 1.01 and on July 1, 2011, went live with KFS 3.1, which included rollout of the Chart of Acccounts, Financial Processing, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Labor Distribution and Contracts and Grants Modules, as well as a new data warehouse, new reporting features, and training on how to use the KFS system.

Work during the final phase of KFS, which runs until July 2012, will involve stabilizing the system, upgrading to KFS 4.1 and Rice 1.03, providing enhanced reporting, and the delivery of the remaning modules: Capital Assets, Effort Certification, Budget Construction, Endowment, Travel and Account Receivable.

The Kuali Coeus Project (as of August, 2011) is in planning stages; a roadmap is being developed and a team identified for the implementation of pre-award and post-award function
