KRAD Training in March

A training session will be held March 12-16, 2012 for the new Rice KRAD module. The training will be held in Bloomington, IN at the Hilton Garden Inn. This training will cover all the details of KRAD and its supporting technologies. More information, including the training agenda can be found HERE. Oct 14, 2011 - Due to unforeseen resource replacements and a more detailed understanding of the full scope of release 2.0, the beta and production releases have been moved out by one quarter.  This decision only came after extensive evaluation of alternative options and close conversations with the other project teams.

Can I delegate my approval to someone else?

Yes, Fiscal Officers can delegate approval authority to other users based on attributes of a specific transaction such as document type and dollar amount. Delegates can approve documents at the "Account Level" of routing as if they were the Fiscal Officer. Fiscal Officers can choose to establish either type of delegate or both. Fiscal Officers can still access any documents they are responsible for.

Rice Board Completes Charter Document

 

At the May 2009 meeting of the Rice Board, the Board members formally approved the Rice Board Charter. This Charter was written over the winter, and has been reviewed this spring by the Rice Board, Teams, and Committees. The final document has been signed and is posted here. Even though the Charter is completed, it can still evolve and change as new information is incorporated. The completion of this Charter document is a large milestone for the new Rice Project Board and Team.
