(Bloomington, IN)  The Kuali Foundation is pleased to announce the release of Kuali OLE 0.3; a milestone in open-source software development that addresses the functional needs of higher education research libraries for managing information resources.  Kuali Open Library Environment (OLE) is a robust, enterprise-wide, easy-to-use system for selecting, acquiring and describing library information resources, which will link with enterprise business processes and value-added external resources.

Kuali OLE Presenting at ER&L Libraries Conference 2011

Kuali OLE will be presenting a session on ERM workflows at the Electronic Resources & Libraries Conference 2011 to be held Feb 28, 2011-March 2, 2011 in Austin, TX. The panel session will feature ERM workflow components from Coral as well as from Reed College and Eastern Kentucky University.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.Jan. 24, 2011 -- Kuali Foundation announces the selection of HTC Global Services as the development partner for the Kuali Open Library Environment (OLE) project.

Kuali OLE Welcomes Additions to Core Team

Three key additions to the Kuali OLE  core team joined in December 2010. They report to Brad Skiles, OLE Project Manager.  

Rich Slabach, QA manager, joins Kuali OLE as the QA Manager to assist OLE teams in developing acceptance criteria and testing scripts from user stories andfunctional requirements.  Plus he will ensure that testing takes place and issues are tracked and resolved. He comes to us from Duke Energy Legal Department where he was the Technology Manager and had over 15 years of professional experience in business analysis and project management.

Kuali OLE Functional Council Holds 3rd Quarter Meeting

Gainesville, FL -- The Kuali OLE Functional Council and Core Team recently met on the campus at the University of Florida for their third quarterly face-to-face meeting. Planning was conducted to ramp-up specification writing team participants from all partner sites and work plans were established to move forward with plans for the second half of year one software development for the project.
